Amazon’s Prime Instant Video triples video streaming

Amazon’s Prime Instant Video service is more popular than ever. Video streams are nearly tripling.

Bill Carr, Amazon’s vice president of digital video and music, told Fox, “We’ve invested hundreds of millions of dollars in great TV shows and movies for Prime members and it’s working.”

Prime membership is one of the most popular ways that consumers are finding television content. Amazon is still one of the leaders in the industry, and the company is always moving ahead with innovative strategies to embrace viewing. Members are looking to Amazon for their television viewing and their new streaming service features many of original shows.

Last week, Amazon also launched Amazon Fire, their new advancement for television viewers. The revelation was much anticipated. Amazon Fire is the newest product from Amazon, and distributors are marketing the product along with Amazon Kindle. Amazon Fire connects to their Amazon accounts. The company says the $99 device has better speed, and might outperform search Apple TV and Google Chromecast, according to the Associated Press.
