An 85 year old woman plans to sue East Neck Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in West Babylon, Long Island after male strippers were hired, allegedly, to harass her and other patients in the facility 8 months ago.
Attorneys at Ray, Mitev & Associates, who will be representing the plaintiff, said, “This woman has spent her whole life living in dignity and now has been disgraced and offended by all of this,” according to NBC New York.
The 85 year old patient accused the unwelcomed stripper of gyrating in front of her.
A lawsuit was filed against the nursing home after the old woman’s son found a picture of a stripper dancing in front of his mother in January 2013, according to the Associated Press. It isn’t clear who took the picture of the stripper and resident.
The nursing home has maintained that the male stripper was hired for entertainment purposes only, and that it was a group decision to bring him in.
