The screenplay was written by Simon Beaufoy and Michael Arndt. The cast includes Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth. The film was previously nominated for a Golden Globe.
Other winners at the MTV Movie Awards included Jonah Hill for Best Comedic Performance with The Wolf of Wall Street, Jared Leto for Best On-Screen Transformation for the Dallas Buyers Club, Will Poulter for Breakthough Performance for We’re the Millers, and Leonardo DiCaprio for the #WTF Moment for The Wolf of Wall Street.
