I started going through the five stages of grief,” Bucatinsky said. “I sat in an office two hours before the table read and wept as I read that episode…I can’t complain. As an actor who has to die on a show, I feel honored to be in an episode like that.”

Despite the initial shock, the actor has come to terms with his characters death and he says he is proud that the show went “the route that works best for the show.”
