Sara Evans has been preparing her new album, Slow Me Down, released by RCA Nashville.
According to USA Today, Evans, said, "I'd like to think it's because I'm so particular about the music and it's because I'm choosing songs that are undeniable when they do come out."
Her new album is the second one released in nine years. Evan, who lives in Birmingham, Alabama, has recently released Real Fine Place and Born To Fly, according to the Associated Press. The new album features the singer in front of a clock. On the new album, Evans worked with producer, Mark Bright, who co-produced Real Fine Place with Evans. Bright worked on other tracks including “Sweet Spot” and “You Never Know.” The new album features collaborations from other stars in the world of country music. Vince Gill has been a collaborator and sings harmony on “Better Off.” Gavin DeGraw also collaborated with Evans on the new album.
The title track from Slow Me Down is already on the radio, and charting on the Country Top 40 album.
