Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea voices character for Disney's 'Sheriff Callie's Wild West'

Bassist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flea, will take the lead vocals for a Disney cartoon called, Sheriff Callie’s Wild West. The episode titled “The Pie Theif” will air 9 a.m. on Friday.

Aside from his talent on the bass, Flea is also known for doing the voice over, or the “babble over” for The Wild Thornberry’s Donnie. This time, Flea will take on the persona of a cat, as reported in Rolling Stone.

In the episode, Cree Summer does the voice over for Priscilla who ruins a baking contest by consuming every pie. She lies and leads the police to false information that sends the Sheriff, voiced by Mandy Moore on a fictional hunt for the pie bandit, according to Laughing Place. During their time away, Flea’s character comes into the picture, becoming a milk thief.

The first preschooler western began in January and spreads the message of hard work, honest, fairness and cooperation to its viewers. Flea passes his reputation for not always following to rules onto his cat counterpart.

It is a children’s show, however, so stealing milk acts as an appropriate equivalent for some of the crazy things Flea has done in his rock career. His cat persona even wears a t-shirt.
