Miranda Lambert talks about being in the spotlight and turning 30

Country blond bombshell Miranda Lambert opened up about her new attitude as she enters her thirties.

Lambert graces the cover of the latest issue of People magazine that hits newsstands on Friday. In the issue Lambert talks about how she has softened her image from when she first started.

"That attitude brought me here and got me where I am," said Lambert. "But that was me in my 20s. The chip on my shoulder is gone. At some point, you calm down. I'm happy. I'm more settled. I've put down roots."

As Lambert has reached phenomenal success with; six Country Music Awards, fifteen Academy of Country Music Awards, and a Grammy she believes people have accepted her as a performer and as a person.

"I feel like people have accepted me for who I am, with all the craziness, loudness and fire," said Lambert.

Lambert has been married to country star and The Voice judge Blake Shelton for three years. The “Automatic” singer addressed the rumors of her marriage being on the verge of ending.

"It's not easy when everyone is trying to tear you down, but you make a commitment and you stick to it,” said Lambert. “In other parts of the entertainment world, it sometimes seems like marriage is so disposable. But country has some enduring marriages – Johnny and June, George and Nancy, Faith and Tim. I'm thankful we have those role models. I feel like our peers are rooting for us. They're holding us up.”

Country Weekly reported that Lambert’s new music video for the single “Automatic” evokes the emotions of melancholy and nostalgia as she takes an emotional trip down memory lane.
