Canadian singer Justin Bieber is making headlines again by claiming his failed sobriety test that resulted in DUI was because of a hairline fracture he has in in his right foot.
According to People the twenty-year-old pop singer told police officers that he hurt his right foot prior to the arrest while he was skateboarding. Bieber also claims that he injured his right knee in January.
Bieber was arrested for a DUI and drag racing on January 23. The officer did say that Bieber showed discomfort on his right foot.
In the report it was noted that Bieber was having “great difficulty” balancing his weight when he had to perform the tests. "He winced when he was performing on his right foot."
Bieber has numerous charges against him including; resisting arrest, driving with an invalid driver’s license and being under the influence.
The legal woes continue for Bieber as a paparazzo is suing the singer for battery. E! Online reports that not only is it involving Bieber, but his pop starlet girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Jeffrey Binion’s, the paparazzo, lawyer, Mark DiCowde is being persistent about asking Bieber about Gomez. Bieber is less than thrilled about the situation and told DiCowde, “don't ask me about her again.”
DiCowde revealed why he is pushing Bieber to talk about Gomez.
"I'm looking for Bieber's reappearance in a deposition to be answered truthfully, honestly, and provide his recollections as to incidents that occurred between him and his bodyguards, including the Selena Gomez incident."
DiCowden’s motion for the hearing is set for June 30.
