Justin Bieber makes early surprise appearance at SXSW

Justin Bieber is one of the first musicians to make an appearance at SXSW, the music, film, and technology festival in Austin.

Bieber performed at Banger’s Sausage House & Been Garden on Sunday night. Bieber performed only a few songs. He dedicated the song, "Boyfriend," to ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

According to the Associated Press, Bieber said, “This goes out to my baby girl."

At Banger’s Sausage House & Been Garden, they were holding an event for Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun. Bieber as well as Cody Simpson were among the guest performers for the evening.

Justin Bieber is a Canadian pop star who was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards. His albums include Believe, Under the Mistletoe, and My World 2.0.

There’s much more ahead at SXSW. Lady Gaga will be performing, as well as giving a keynote address. Willie Nelson, Coldplay, and Kendrick Lamar are also set to appear at SXSW. The music part of the festival is beginning on Tuesday.
