Julianna Margulies opens up about the next season of The Good Wife.
Margulies plays Alicia Florrick on the series. The show saw a big change in the cast when Will Gardner, played by actor Josh Charles, was killed off on this week’s episode.
Margulies answered fan questions on Monday on her Facebook page. She explained that she spoke to the writers for the series before the shocking episode. She said that both she and Charles thought the pivotal episode was a brilliant idea.
According to E!, Margulies told More Magazine, "What I love about the flashbacks with Will...is that you get to see her true happiness in a moment where she's not thinking about anyone but herself. And that's not a normal day for Alicia."
The Good Wife has been on the air since 2009. The show was created by Michelle King and Robert King. Julianna Margulies has also appeared as Nina Hirsch in Stand Up Guys, and she is known for her work as Nurse Carol Hathaway in the television series, ER.
The Good Wife airs on Sundays on CBS at 9PM.
