More information is coming out after Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay was recently arrested in Indianapolis.
Irsay was arrested and charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance and a DWI on March 16, according to CBSSports.
ESPN reports that according to the police report filed, police found $29,029 in cash and several prescription pill bottles in Irsay's Toyota Highlander.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stated that he will take disciplinary action against Irsay after he is formally charged. CBSSports reports that Irsay has not been formally charged with anything yet, all of the charges he was arrested on are preliminary.
Irsay was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday but the court granted his attorneys' request to postpone the initial hearing indefinitely, according to ESPN.
ESPN also reports that Irsay is currently in an out-of-state healthcare facility for treatment.
It will be interesting to see what kind of punishment Goodell lays down on Irsay if/when he is found guilty of all or some of the charges he is being tried on.
