Duke and Duchess of Cambridge release family photograph before touring New Zealand and Australia

Kate Middleton and husband Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, have released a family photograph taken by Jason Bell in which the Prince George sits on the Duchess’ lap, and the Duke holds their cocker spaniel, Lupo, whom George seems to find more interesting.

The photograph was taken from outside of the couple’s Kensington Palace apartment, which was the home of Princess Margaret, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

The image was released right ahead of the three’s tour of New Zealand and Australia, according to Time.

Prince George is eight months old, and is third in line to be King of England.

Jason Bell is a celebrity portrait photographer, and was the official photographer at the christening of Prince George last year in October.

The Duke attended a 10-week course for agricultural management at the University of Cambridge, which consisted of meetings, lectures, and seminars, which should prepare him for when he inherits the Duchy of Cornwall estate, and will give him a better understanding of agricultural management in the U.K.
