Donnie McClurkin releases his sixth new studio album, Duets.
McClurkin is a Grammy award winning recording artist known for the hit, “We Fall Down.” According to the Associated Press. He collaborates with a number of important artists on his new album, including Marvin Sapp, Tye Tribbett, Israel Houghton and McClurkin's cousin, John P. Kee. Duets features Tina and Erica Campbell on separate songs.
Tracks on Duets include “We Are Victorious,” “All About the Love,” and “Let it Go.” The album is steeped in inspirational messages. “My Past” is an eight-plus minute track that has to do with what to do after a mistake. Other tracks on the album include ”Write My Name” and “Anytime.” Not every song on the album is a duet, according to Soul Tracks.
No stranger to uplifting films, McClurkin appeared in The Gospel and Hopeville. His past albums include Live in London and More…, Again, Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs, We All Are One, and Duets.
McClurkin has won three Grammys, two BET awards, and two Soul Train awards.
