Don’t tip at Noodles & Co.

Kevin Reddy, CEO of restaurant chain Noodles & Co., highlights the company’s no-tip policy for employees.

"Being nice doesn't cost you anything, and we don't really feel that folks should have to pay something additional for us to appreciate that they're choosing us over another restaurant,” Kevin Reddy said in an interview with CNBC.

Noodles & Co. is a restaurant that sits between casual dining and fast food. Customers place their orders at the counter and their food is delivered to them by employees.

According to MarketWatch, “Our prices are lower to begin with, and you don’t have to put a 15% to 20% tip on it,” said Reddy.

Reddy has worked with other restaurant chains in his career. His resume includes executive at McDonald’s Corp. and Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc., Newsmax notes.

Reddy began working at Noodles & Co. in 2006.

The company has 380 locations in 29 states and in Washington, D.C. that all uphold the no-tip policy.
