Singer Kenny Chesney and actress Keira Knightley celebrate their birthdays today.

Singer Kenny Chesney turns 46 today. Born Kenneth Arnold Chesney, the artist has found success in the country music genre. He has released 19 albums over his 20 year career, so far, and continues to tour with other top artists in the genre.

The singer-songwriter is originally from Luttrell, Tennessee. Chesney learned to play guitar at a young age. Later, he recorded a demo album for Classic Recording Studio, selling 1,000 copies, and performed at local clubs. Kenny Chesney moved to Nashville and played in clubs, before signing with Opryland Music Group.

Chesney resume includes awarded CMA Entertainer of the Year at least three within four years, performed at the White House for Australian Prime Minister, CMT’s Video of the Year award and ACM’s Top Male Vocalist of the Year award.
Some of his hits include “I Go Back,” “Living in Fast Forward,” “Young” and “She’s Got It All.” Chesney has collaborated with a number of artists like Jimmy Buffett, Tim McGraw and Reba McEntire.

Chesney married actress Renée Zellweger May 9, 2005 but the couple separated in December of the same year.

Kenny Chesney is very active with charities like the V Foundation, which seeks a cure for cancer, and Farm Aid, which helps farm families sustainable. Chesney shared his musical talents for Farm Aid in 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2012.

Actress Keira Knightley turns 29 today. This British entertainer was born in London. She has worked on several genres of film and entertained countless audiences. Knightley acts in inspirational films and carries her viewpoints into the many charities she cares for.

The star knew she wanted to act from an early age. She performed in local productions like After Juliet and United States. Knightley had an agent the age of 6, where she initially acted in commercials and small TV and film spots. Knightley dated actor Del Synnott in 2001 until 2003, actor Jamie Dornan from 2003 until 2005 and actor Rupert Friend from 2005 until 2010. She started dating musician James Righton in 2011 and the couple married in 2013.
