Cara Delevingne will flaunt her acting skills in Tim Frith’s ‘Timeless’

As a part of the Sky Arts’ Playhouse Presents series, 21-year-old supermodel Cara Delevingne will be performing in Timeless.

According to The Telegraph, Delevingne will be staring in Tim Frith’s drama alongside Sylvia Syms. She will be playing the character of a young woman whose mother and grandmother is away on a cruise. She then has to take on the role of caring for Alice, her great-grandmother, who is played by Syms.

Chloe, who will be Delevingne’s character, is also the fiancé of a soldier currently serving in Afghanistan, who gets a visit from an army official, according to Contact Music.

According to the Sky synopsis, Delvingne and Syms’ characters experience a closing of the generational gap between them within the tale containing loss, hope and love.

“We’re delighted that such outstanding writers, directors and actors, all at the very top of their game want to come and ‘play’ with us,” the director of Sky Arts, James Hunt said, according to Contact Music.

Delevingne, according to Contact Music, does have some acting experience, despite the fact she has not had any television credits for her work. She has appeared the 2012 version of Ana Karenina, which she had a minor role in. Additionally, she was in the Amanda Knox film, The Face of an Angel.

Timeless is due on television on June 19.
