More of the cast from NBC's pulled The Michael J. Fox Show continue to land roles elsewhere and Ana Nogueira is the latest as she has been cast in the CBS pilot Good Session.
According to TheWrap, if the single-camera comedy pilot gets picked up, Nogueira will be a series regular.
The actress was tapped to play the role of Abby, who is described as someone who always alters her personality and life around that of her latest romantic interest. She is said to be extreme, but lovable.
Nogueira joins comedian Tracey Ullman, who was cast to play Ellen, a therapist. She is said to be intelligent, rather honest and uses humor effectively as she counsels couples who come to her.
Good Session will follow Psych alum James Roday as a husband who finds he and his wife aren't quite on the same page when it comes to the subject of when the best time is to start a family.
He will play Joel, who is a middle-school guidance counselor. He and his wife Lindsay, a role that remains uncast, decide to attend couples therapy to get their marriage back on track.
The half-hour comedy comes from Matter Miller and John Hamburg. The latter will direct the pilot based off a script the pair are writing. They will also executive produce.
