‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Jamie Dornan sang Rita Ora songs between filming takes

The film adaptation of E.L. James best-selling novel Fifty Shades of Grey can’t get here fast enough. The cast of the film have grown close to where Jamie Dornan who will be playing the infamous role of Christian Grey, sings Rita Ora songs between takes.

E! Online reports that songstress Rita Ora will be playing the role of Christian Grey’s younger sister Mia Grey.

This isn’t the first time that the Irish hunk behind the microphone showing off his talent for singing. Dornan used to sing for a folk band called Sons of Jim but the band broke up in 2008.

About Dornan’s singing talent Marcia Gay Harden, who will be playing the role of Christian’s mother Dr. Grace Trevelyan Grey, told Entertainment Weekly “Behind the scenes, he'll jump into an Irish ditty, or he was singing a lot of Rita Ora,"

Harden went on to talk about her role in Fifty Shades of Grey and her thoughts about the story that took the nation by storm.

“I play Mama Grey, so it’s like, unless you’re in the red playroom with a toy in your hand and flesh in your face, it’s sort of like any other movie that you could do.” She said. “But the story is so intriguing, and I think so many people have read it, and it is erotic. … I like looking and thinking, ‘Why did we anthropologically select for erotic pleasure in pain?’ It’s really interesting to me. And E L James has the answer.”

Fifty Shades of Grey is set to be released next year on Valentines Day.
