On Friday Vice President Joe Biden gave an exclusive interview addressing a potential 2016 Presidential bid.
CNN interviewed Biden about topics such as immigration reform, the Obama administration, and about a task force he has been appointed to to review federal job training. During the interview, the Vice President was asked for any reasons to which he may or may not run for the next Presidential bid, to which he replied, “There may be reasons I don’t run, but there is not obvious reason for me why I think I should not run.”
According to CBS News, Biden has tried his hand twice before for the Presidency, once in 1988 and the other in 2008 against President Barack Obama. The 71 year old politician’s areas of focus include doing what he can for the average American, and a sound foreign policy.
“Doesn’t mean I’m the only guy that can do it, but if no one else I think can, and I think I can, then I’d run.”
Biden would have to run against popular candidate Hillary Clinton, former first lady. The Vice President remarked he will make his decision by summer 2015.
