This Week in Television: the premieres of ‘The Amazing Race,’ ‘Growing Up Fisher,’ ‘Mind Games’ and ‘Survivor’

With the Olympics winding down, spring shows are getting ready to start airing new episodes again. If you want to know if your favorite show is going to be returning this week, look no further! Here’s what you can expect this week in television.

Sunday, February 23: If you’re not into watching the closing ceremonies of the Olympics, you can check out the season premiere of The Amazing Race, in which eleven former teams will compete for the grand prize again. Plus, watch the series premiere of Growing Up Fisher on NBC. Also, Lip is forced to take over as the Gallagher’s guardian on Shameless, and group members deal with their pasts on The Walking Dead.

Monday, February 24: Juan Pablo visits the remaining women’s hometowns on The Bachelor, and Molly grudgingly sees a therapist on Mike and Molly. Plus, Joe’s new relationship escalates into uncharted territory on The Following.

Tuesday, February 25: ABC premieres Mind Games, a new drama starring Steve Zahn and Christian Slater as experts in human behavior. Also, Finch goes undercover as a 911 operator on Person of Interest, and Jess’ sister causes more trouble on New Girl.

Wednseday, February 26: Survivor returns with its all new brain vs. beauty vs. brawn season. Then, Luke competes against the son of Phil’s nemesis on Modern Family, and the top 13 finalists perform live on American Idol.

Thursday, February 27: ABC airs the Countdown to the Oscars, a special featuring Johan Hill, Lupita Nyong’o, Gary Sinise, and Tom Hanks. Plus, Simon offers to throw a bar mitzvah for a client’s son on The Crazy Ones, and a mother tampers with the jury on Rake.

Friday, February 28: The Baxters find out that their dog has been getting into some trouble on Last Man Standing, and Danny’s mother comes to Oahu with shocking news on Hawaii Five-0. Then, Maw Maw gets a new boyfriend on Raising Hope.
