Busy Duchess Kate Middleton seems to be always on the run and always in the public eye, so it is no surprise that the reigning Queen has something to say about how she is dressed and represented.
Royal correspondent, Katie Nicholl, from Mail on Sunday has just announced that the Queen has asked Kate’s stylists to make sure that her hemlines for her dresses are considerably longer when she goes on tour in Australia.
Vanityfair reported that the Queen has asked her own personal stylist, Angela Kelly, to help style Kate and make her hemlines longer and her jewelry and accessories more flashy.
The Queen also has requested that Kate wear tiaras that are personally favored by the Queen herself. Overall the Queen wants the Duchess to wear clothing and jewelry that make her seem more royal, high end and refined.
Entertainmentwise reports that one of the selections of jewelry in consideration for Kate’s Australia trip is a ruby and diamond broach in the shape of a hibiscus flower, a symbol that represents Australia. They also report that Buckingham Palace source has stated that, “Her [Angela Kelly] understanding is crucial because the trip will be able Kate appearing more Royal than ever - you can expect to see a lot more tiaras and the Queen will be watching closely."
