Now split into two weekends, a first for the Sasquatch! music festival, which has announced the headliners Outkast and Soundgarden for the separate weekends.
According to Rolling Stone, Outkast will headline the normal 3 day festival over Memorial Day weekend and Soundgarden will headline the new second weekend for Fourth of July.
The Memorial Day weekend festival, May 23 to May 25, will also feature bands Queens of a Stone Age, The National, M.I.A., sister act Haim, and Tyler, The Creator. The Fourth of July weekend, which is scheduled to run July 4 to July 6, will feature New Order, Frank Ocean, and Kraftwerk.
Outkast has been lining up quite a few festivals already this year including, with their announcement of their reunion, headlining Day 1 of this year’sCoachellaFestival, Florida’s Big Guava Festival and Alabama’s Hangout Music Festival.
Sasquatch! takes place at the Gorge Amphitheater in George, Washington. Each weekend features over 200 artists, including comedy acts. Festival passes go on sale Saturday February 8 at 10am PST.
