'Octomom' Nadya Suleman charged with fourth count of fraud

Nadya Suleman, famously known as “Octomom,” was charged with a fourth count of fraud on Wednesday with a total of $26,000 dollars now owed to the state.
According to CNN, Suleman failed to disclose $30,000 in additional earnings, and could face up to over six months in jail. Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey stated that she "allegedly failed to disclose that she was also getting checks for personal appearances and residuals from videos." These personal appearances include topless poses, a sex tape, and performing exotic dancing.
Suleman’s notoriety began in 2009 when she gave birth to eight children at one time. Suleman has six children on top of her now five-year-old octuplets, all of which were conceived by in-vitro fertilization. The Associated Press reports that the doctor responsible has since had his license revoked for initially implanting 12 embryos all together.
Suleman is now facing an additional count of aid by misrepresentation on top her existing one, along with two counts of perjury by false application for aid. She will appear in court again March 11 for a pretrial hearing where she will be arraigned for her fourth count.
