New smartphone from Samsung unveiled at Mobile World Congress

Samsung announced that they are introducing a new smartphone on the market.

The Galaxy S5 smartphone will feature a sharper camera with quick auto focus, a heart-rate monitor, and even a fingerprint sensor.

Samsung often hosts its own events to generate buzz about new products, but this time the Galaxy S5 was promoted at the Mobile World Congress wireless show in Barcelona, Spain.
U.S. Wireless Advisory Leader Dan Hays told the Associated Press, “It's increasingly difficult to get attention for your mobile device in a very crowded marketplace.”

The new Samsung products boast a larger screen. Samsung Electronics Co. made it clear that they had more to offer than just smartphones. Samsung is also set to show an updated wearable tech device at the Mobile World Congress, according to Reuters. In addition to the many new products, computerized wristwatches, Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo also got a fresh look.

Samsung does a lot to promote their new products. Advertising expenditures amount to 4.6 trillion over a 12 month time frame.
