Kamik Boots

I have never been much of a snow boot kind of girl. I felt they all lacked style and were bulky. In fact, my husband in year's past has repeatedly said to me "why won't you just go buy boots; who cares what they look like?".
I am thrilled to say that I've been wearing my new Kamik boots for a few weeks now and they are comfy, stylish and I am LOVING them!

Kamik, a Canadian Company, truly has accomplished providing modern and stylish footwear without comprising quality or price. Each one of their products contains a description tag stating "Made In Canada" or "Built in the USA". The Company is over 100 years old and family run. By manufacturing locally, Kamik is helping to reduce their carbon footprint with regard to shipping and saving fuel.

I was sent the "Seattle" boot. These are AWESOME and I knew I would love them when I first opened the box. The boots are insulated, waterproof two tone nylon and super comfy! The padded faux fur collar can be folded over providing the wearer with the option of wearing the boot folded up or folded down (two unique looks!) Kamik's "DriDefense" waterproof design completely keeps the water and snow out- and with the horrible snow we've been having lately I was able to put them to quite the test! Both foam and fleece insulation also keep you toasty warm while in these awful elements. Their treaded rubber outsole has a super grip and support so that even this klutz doesn't go slipping on the ice. I also found them to be true to size.

To me, the Kamik Seattle boot did the job and then some. I was able to finally own a reasonably priced boot, that is warm and keeps you warm even hours into shoveling (LOL), kept me dry the whole time and are cute and stylish enough to wear into the office.
