According to Variety co-writer of This Is The End brought a surprise guest list worthy of his own movie, with Seth Rogan, Rebecca Romijn, Lizzy Caplan, and Michael Chikilis, among others.
Some dressed in character, some casual, the packed 600 seat Bing Theater got right into as cheers came for Caplan reading Honey Bunny’s iconic line, “Any of you f--king pricks move, and I’ll execute every motherf--king last one of ya!”
Best in show, according to Rolling Stone went to Jordan Peele’s interpretation of Jules Winnfield, played by Samuel L. Jackson in the movie, with Peele’s rendition laying thick on the comedy rather than the menacing, and as RS stated, “executed the pivot to religious enlightenment just as convincingly.”
Unfortunately, no recording devices or cameras were allowed inside, but we can always hope for some industry exec to have recorded a snippet or two.
