Saturday Night Live will return on March 1 with host Jim Parsons and musical guest Beck.
Parsons, known for playing Sheldon Cooper on the hit comedy series The Big Bang Theory, will make his SNL hosting debut. Parsons is also known for playing Rob Holbrook in Judging Amy, as well as roles in The Big Year, Family Guy, and Wish I Was Here. Parsons has been on The Big Bang Theory since 2007.
Beck returns for his seventh appearance as musical guest. Beck is an American musician known for his ingenious, alternative rock music. His albums include Golden Feelings, Mutations, Sea Change, The Information, and Modern Guilt. His latest effort is on his new label, Capitol Records. Beck’s eagerly anticipated album, Morning Phase is due out on February 25.
Saturday Night Live began in 1975. The 90-minute show is known for producing the best of sketch comedy and musical performances. Saturday Night Live is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
