Jai Courtney has been cast in the new Terminator movie, Terminator: Genesis.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jai Courtney will be playing Kyle Reese, the travels to the present to rescue Sarah Connor. Terminator: Genesis will feature much of the action based drama that made the original film so popular. Terminator: Genesis will welcome back Arnold Schwarzenegger, the bold muscle man who starred in the original film in 1984.
Courtney, 33, is originally from Sydney. He played Eric in the film, Divergent and Jack McClane in A Good Day to Die Hard. He has also starred in Felony, Jack Reacher, and I, Frankenstein. According to the Daily News, In Terminator: Genesis Courtney joins Game of Thrones's Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor. Jason Clark will play John Connor. The movie will be directed by Alan Taylor. Alan Taylor is best known for his work in Game of Thrones. He also directed Boardwalk Empire and the television series, Bored to Death.
Terminator: Genesis will be released over the Summer.
