Erin Andrews to co-host ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Former ESPN and Fox Sports correspondent Erin Andrews will now be co-hosting Dancing With The Stars with Tom Bergeron on ABC.

According to People Erin Andrews will step in for Brooke Burke-Charvet, who was let go as co-host last week. Andrews is no stranger to the series, having competed on season 10 of DWTS with pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Brooke Burke-Charvet revealed in a fairly light-hearted tweet of her departure from the show stating “weird day….Shocking pre-season elimination #DWTS…ME. @Tom_Bergeron didn't even read my name. I won't be returning to the show this season.”

This comes with another change in the Dancing With The Stars line-up when it was announced that long-time band leader Harold Wheeler would not be returning to the show, with the show using actual music from the recording artist, rather than the interpretation from the 28-piece house band.

Andrews rejoined Fox Sports in 2012 after reporting for ESPN for eight years. ABC has made no official comment yet.

Dancing With The Stars Season 18 cast will be announced on Good Morning America on March 4.
