Celebrity Birthdays, February 22: Drew Barrymore and Clinton Kelly

Actress Drew Barrymore and television personality Clinton Kelly are celebrating their birthdays today.

Drew Barrymore, 39

Actress, screenwriter, director, producer, model, and author Drew Barrymore turns 39 today. born into a family of entertainers, Barrymore appeared in an advertisement at 11 months. She had a minor part on TV's The Waltons, and made her film debut in Altered States (1980). Her breakout role was in Steven Spielberg's E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Barrymore had a troubled childhood, which involved drug and alcohol abuse and two trips to rehab. She wrote the autobiography entitled Little Girl Lost.
Barrymore went on to star in films including Poison Ivy, The Wedding Singer, and Ever After. She created the production company Flower Films, and starred in it's first production, Never Been Kissed. the company went on to produce more of her films including Charlie's Angels, 50 First Dates, Music and Lyrics, and Donnie Darko. Barrymore received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, made the 2007 cover of People magazine's 100 Most Beautiful issue, was named Ambassador Against Hunger for the UN World Food Programme, and in 2007 became a Covergirl Spokeswoman and face of Gucci Jewelry.
Barrymore is married to art consultant Will Kopelman. They have a daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, and are expecting their second child.

Clinton Kelly, 45

Fashion consultant/designer, author, and television personality Clinton Kelly turns 45 today. Kelly hosted a QVC program and worked as a freelance writer for several New York publications. He was editor at Marie Claire, deputy editor at Mademoiselle, and executive editor of Daily News Record, a men's fashion magazine.
Kelly replaced Wayne Scot Lukas on TLC's What Not to Wear, working alongside Stacy London. in 2008, he was a guest consultant on the TLC reality series Miss America: Countdown to the Crown. in 2011, he became a co-host on ABC's The Chew.
Kelly wrote Freakin Fabulous: How to Dress, Speak, Behave, Eat, Drink, Entertain, Decorate, and Generally be Better than Everyone Else in 2008, and Oh No She Didn't in 2010. Kelly writes a weekly column for RedEye in the Chicago Tribune, is a spokesman for Macy's, and has a clothing line through QVC called Kelly by Clinton Kelly. He is openly gay and is married to Damon Bayles since 2009.
