Actress Florence Henderson and singer Rob Thomas are celebrating their birthdays today.
Florence Henderson, who is best known for starring in The Brady Bunch as Carol Brady, is celebrating her 80th birthday today. Henderson performed in musicals such as Oklahoma! and became the first woman to guest host The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in 1962.
Henderson later starred in The Brady Bunch from 1969-74. She has also hosted her own show The Florence Henderson Show since 2008. The show was nominated for an Emmy in 2010.
Henderson has also hosted her own cooking show, Who's Cooking with Florence Henderson, on Retirement Living TV.
Rob Thomas, lead singer of rock band Matchbox 20, celebrates his 41st birthday today. Thomas has also performed solo, releasing the No. 1 hit "Smooth" with Carlos Santana in 1999.
With Matchbox 20, Thomas served as the primary songwriter along with singing. The band produced radio singles such as "3 A.M.", "Push", "Real World", "If You're Gone" and "Unwell." Three of those singles came from their debut album Yourself or Someone Like You, which was released in 1996 and went diamond, selling 12 million copies.
The band is still touring in wake of their most recent album North, which went No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200.
