Brooke Burke-Charvet has been fired as the co-host for Dancing With The Stars .
After eight seasons with the hit celebrity competition show, Us Weekly reports that co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet, age 42, has been officially fired. She first appeared as a competitor on the show in 2008's season seven, where she took home the trophy with dancing partner Derek Hough. Burke-Charvet then returned as host alongside Tom Bergeron for season 10. Executive producer Conrad Green confirmed the news to Us Weekly and added "She's been a wonderful part of the Dancing with the Stars family since her triumphant win in season seven and will unquestionably be missed by our entire team. We'd like to thank Brooke for her years of great service." Actress and model Brooke seemed less than thrilled with the news on her Twitter account yesterday, posting this tweet about the career move:
weird day….Shocking pre-season elimination #DWTS…ME. @Tom_Bergeron didn't even read my name. I won't be returning to the show this season.

She later thanked fans for their support.
Brooke Burke-Charvet won't be the only face missing when the show returns for its 18th season. Earlier this month, The Celebrity Cafe reported that Harold Wheeler and his 28-piece band had been let go from Dancing With The Stars .
Viewers will see how these radical changes effect the show when it returns March 17th.
