The popular television series, The Walking Dead, will continue with Season Four on AMC.
The show has enjoyed a two-month hiatus. Writer Scott Gimple has a lot planned for the next episodes. He told Entertainment Weekly,"There are some bright sweet moments and there are — shock upon shock — some smiles. There’s also some of the darkest material we’ve ever written as well. It really runs the gamut. I love how we’ve been able to do essentially eight little movies."
This isn’t the first successful show that Gimple has written for. His previous television work includes Flash Forward and Da Vinci’s Demons. No stranger to stories about those who rise from the dead, Gimple has also written a screenplay called Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Andrew Lincoln has appeared in the television series, Strike Back and Afterlife. He has appeared in the TV movies, Moonshot and Wuthering Heights.
This second half of Season Four promises to move forward the story of Rick Grimes, a police officer who confronts zombies. The Walking Dead returns this Sunday at 9 p.m. on AMC.
