In the previous episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloé moved in with Rob after bouncing from house to house avoiding her husbands negative actions.
Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians brought little drama and failed to tell us anything about Kanye West’s proposal to Kim Kardashian. As half of a two-part episode, of course everything we want to see will be on the next episode. Way to get hopes up, E!
The episode started at Khloé and Kourtney discussed business for their DASH stores when Khloé’s hair gets stuck in a hand-held fan. Once they got her hair out, they began discussing Kourtney’s ongoing breastfeeding. It was a pretty funny start to the episode, even if that was probably the highlight of the episode.
Kim was the center of the episode this week, but for her negativity. Her sisters, Khloé and Kourtney, have been the victims of her criticisms for a while now. Since Kim is always at home after having her baby, she needs a project to keep her occupied, so her sisters make the perfect targets. She criticizes them on their looks, actions and styles all while maintaining a smile. Since they are sisters, Khloé and Kourtney keep quiet about how critical Kim is being, which is their ultimate downfall. If someone continues to say something about you that you don’t like, it is then your job to say something back. They decide to keep quiet, so Kim continues her rants.
Apart from that, Kim is also getting on the rest of her family’s nerves as she extends her stay at the Jenner house. Younger sister, Kendall, voices her annoyance along with Khloé and Kourtney when they go out for lunch.
There, they decide to call Kim “Fancy Nancy” so they can make fun of her to her face without her having a clue. Through the second half of the episode, they continue to refer to “Fancy Nancy” as a rude person with no manners and who criticizes everything about everyone. Kim, of course oblivious, wonders who this Nancy is.
Kris Jenner has also had enough of Kim. Not only has Kim taken over Kris’ bathroom, she has completely taken over the whole house as she patiently waits for her new house to be built. She is taking meetings at the dining room table, taking business calls in Kris’ room, and has taken over pretty much every closet available. The fact that Kris was the one that asked Kim and Kanye to move in makes it hard to feel sorry for her.
In an effort to speed up the building process, Kris calls Kim’s contractor behind her back. She meets with her at the unfinished home and realizes the house won’t be done anytime soon. Kim gets a call from her contractor and confronts Kris about it. They then get in a heated debate about Kim’s Jenner-House takeover. Kim finally realizes she overstepped her boundaries and apologizes.
Khloé, Kourtney and Kendall continue their “Fancy Nancy” nonsense while Kim just sits there unaware of the hurtful things being said about her. Khloé finally admits that Kim is in fact Nancy. Kim expresses her hurt feelings and makes her sisters feel bad for her, even though they were the ones who got hurt first. Feeling bad about their actions, the sisters apologize to each other about how they were treating others and Kim vows to be more careful with her choice of words.
Nothing much is said about Khloé’s dissinigrating relationship. Lamar is featured though, in two phone conversations. In the scenes, Lamar seems very lethargic, almost like he is not really all there. Khloé doesn’t help his image by talking to him like he is a child. It’s obvious that the demons Lamar is fighting need to be dealt with on his own because Khloé has pretty much given up.
The episode ends when Kanye’s people call Kris to round up the family to fly out to San Francisco on a private plane for Kim’s birthday bash. They all seem very suspicious as to why Kanye wants the whole family there and all of her friends because its supposed to be only a birthday. Next week is when the real celebration will air.
