Gravity is the story of a medical engineer and an astronaut whose space shuttle is involved in a mid-orbit destruction. They must work together to try and make it back to earth.
Bullock did an excellent job, the amount of accolades she received is enough to prove it. However, I believe the film is more visually pleasing than the acting. The special effects almost look real, and the work put into it is extraordinary. Bullock and George Clooney have great chemistry on screen. Bullock did an excellent job with the feeling of helplessness and bringing the suspense to audiences.
The film reached critical success and became the highest-grossing opening film of Bullock's career, one that will be hard for her to beat. Bullock is currently nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress.
