“We Are One (Ole Ola)” sung by Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez and Brazilian artist Claudia Leitte has been named the official song of the 2014 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament, which will take place in Brazil starting in June.
According to Billboard, the song will be performed at the Opening Ceremony at the Arena de Sao Paulo by the trio of stars.
Pitbull announced on his Twitter page Wednesday night about the collaboration, where he wrote, “One song brings the world together #WeAreOne@JLo@ClaudiaLeitte @FIFAcom #WorldCup.”

There have been several Latin stars providing music for largest worldwide event in sports, including 2010’s “Waka Waka” which Shakira sang for the South African World Cup, and Ricky Martin’s “Cup of Life (La Copa De La Vida)” for the 1998 World Cup in France. Martin will also sing a song for this year’s World Cup, which along with “We Are One (Ole Ola)”, will be on the “Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Album” to be released by Sony Music Entertainment.
The song will be performed by Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte, at the FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony on June 12 at the Arena de Sao Paulo.
