Madonna apologizes for using the N-word in Instagram caption

Madonna embroiled herself in controversy again with an Instagram post of her 13-year-old son, using the n-word. This occurred shortly after putting herself in hot water for posting an Instagram photo of her son holding a liquor bottle.

The outspoken pop star posted a photo on Instagram of her son doing a boxing workout on Friday. In her photo caption she posted the following words: "Mama said knock you out! #disn***a", according to NYDailyNews.

She received backlash for her post, and she responded to those who were offended by deleting the photo and posting it again with a caption that read "Ok let me start this again #get off my d*** haters!"

Madonna was more remorseful shortly after though, according to SeattlePI.

She apologized for her comments and giving people the wrong impression, saying that she meant her use of the n-word as a term of endearment for her son, who is white. In her statement, she also acknowledged the n-word as "provocative."
