Christina Perri released her new single “I Believe” from her highly anticipated new album Head or Heart.
“I Believe” starts with piano that plays throughout then strings coming in toward the first chorus and drum machine that breaks through, driving the uplifting song with lyrics telling us to hold on with the belief that even through tough times, we will be OK. With lyrics And I have felt the pain of losing who you are/And I have died so many times but I am still alive/I believe that tomorrow is stronger than yesterday/And I believe that your head is the only thing in your way, and ending the song with This is not the end of me/This is the beginning, Perri gives us reason to fight another day and never give up on who we are.
The “Jar of Hearts” singer also released the album artwork for her upcoming sophomore album via Instagram on December 28, a mirror image of herself, one on top, a less saturated portrait, and one on the bottom, showing off a reddish hair color.
Christina Perri’s Head or Heart is due to be released on March 11, and will also tour in support of the album starting April through May.
