“General Hospital “ weekly recap: 1/13 – 1/17

Silas suddenly appeared at the PCPD and grabbed West roughly, upset about his visit to Sam. Dante pulled Silas off West and Silas then agrees=d to answer West’s questions. They headed into the interrogation room and West asked if Nina was on antidepressants because of his affair with Ava, because at the time Silas denied his affair. Silas didn’t think it was relevant to her overdose. West then slid over a bag with a prescription for Nina’s antidepressant in its liquid form, prescribed to Silas the day his wife went into her coma. West then said that he thought Silas wrote it, filled it and injected Nina. Silas replied that he never saw the prescription and left. Outside the interrogation room, Michael arrived and asked Dante for his help in finding Carly. Michael added that he didn’t trust Franco and begged Dante for his help. They left together.

Alexis visited Sam at the penthouse. She told her that she heard from Molly that Sam and Silas had a nice New Year’s Eve and she was happy someone appreciated Sam for the amazing woman she was. She then asked if things were getting serious and Sam told her they were until she found out Silas had a wife. Sam then told her that everything and Alexis wondered why he kept it a secret until now. Sam admitted she found out the truth from a cop. When she asked Silas, he told her that when Silas' wife went into a coma, the cops suspected Silas because of his affair with Ava. Alexis was surprised how much Silas had kept hidden but had to dash when she got a text. Later, Sam let Silas in and he told her about West’s prescription evidence. They both wondered if Ava was to blame.

At Sabrina and Felix’s apartment, Carlos promised her that he would make her happy and be there for her and the baby. Then, Patrick knocked and Sabrina pushed for Carlos to hide and told him that whatever she said to Patrick, he wasn’t a part of it. She opened the door and Patrick asked if she was pregnant. She admitted that she was while Carlos listened from the bedroom. Patrick was surprised considering how safe they were, but offered to support her no matter what. Then, Carlos made his presence known and told Patrick not to worry because the baby was his. Patrick didn’t believe him, but Carlos told him he and Sabrina slept together after their non-wedding. Patrick looked to Sabrina for confirmation.

Kiki asked Ava outside Franco’s hotel room what happened to Carly since Kiki heard Ava threaten Carly at The Metro Court restaurant. Ava swore to Kiki that she didn’t do anything to Carly but Kiki didn’t believe a word she said. Ava replied that she was sorry and walked off.

Inside his hotel room, Franco found Carly’s letter. In it, she wrote that Sonny made her see she was putting her relationship with him over her relationship with Michael, that she didn’t want to end things this way, but she thought it was best for everyone if she went out of town for a few days. Then, Kiki returned and he showed her the note. He told Kiki how upset he was since they were really good together. Franco then added that he couldn’t think of what could have happened to change Carly’s mind. Kiki left a message for Michael, then comforted Franco, who wanted to know why Kiki was being nice to him and she told him that even though they weren’t related she still cared about him. She then offered to help him find Carly.

Heather removed Carly’s gag and offered her the time to say her last words in the boathouse. Carly told Heather that she couldn’t kill her because they were two of a kind, they were both mothers to two boys. Heather agreed, but Heather said that her sons didn’t appreciate her. She went on to say that Franco was the worst because he stabbed her with her own knife, which was why she had to do this. Heather later left the boathouse with a bloody knife. She told herself that Carly deserved it and so did Franco.

Morgan slammed Julian against The Metro Court parking garage wall, demanding to know what happened to Carly. Morgan then said that he had done everything Julian had asked, including humiliating Ava in front of his father. Julian denied any involvement in Carly’s disappearance and was upset to learn that Ava went to Paluzzo’s. Then, Michael and Dante walked up and asked Morgan what he was doing with Julian. They covered saying they just ran into each other and then Julian left. Meanwhile, Heather parked Carly’s car and patted herself on the back for a job well done. By the time Morgan, Michael and Dante saw Carly’s car, Heather was gone, the front door was open and there was blood smeared on the side. They then popped the trunk.

Julian found Ava in her hotel room and questioned her about Carly. “Did you make her disappear?” Julian asked his sister. Later, West called Ava and asked her to come to the station.

Ava arrived at the station and told Det. West that she had no idea what happened to Carly. West was confused and she realized that had been some miscommunication. He told Ava that he was intrigued about Carly, but really wanted to talk about Silas. “Do you know anything about Silas trying to kill his wife?” he asked her since Kiki was born when Silas was married and having an affair with her. Ava then wanted her lawyer but West assured her that he was after Silas, not her! Ava was then very adamant that Silas would never hurt his wife. West replied that he thought that Silas had injected Nina and Ava seemed affected by the comment.

In The Metro Court parking garage, Morgan, Michael and Dante popped the trunk of Carly’s blood-smeared car. They just found a suitcase. Morgan was relieved but Michael wanted to open the suitcase to make sure. Dante unzipped the suitcase, but it was just filled with clothes. Then, Franco and Kiki walked up and Michael slammed Franco against the wall, demanding to know what he had done to Carly. Kiki then told Michael to stop because she was sure Franco had nothing to do with it. Then, Franco saw Carly’s blood-smeared car. Dante then calls Det. West to come to the scene. Franco then told Dante about Carly’s letter and Dante wanted him to go to the station. Forensics went over the car while Dante got Det. West up to speed. West, in turn, told Dante about Ava’s admittance when she got to the station that she didn’t know what happened to Carly and he that he didn’t believe she was involved. They were then all called over to the car because forensics had found the bloody knife.

At the penthouse, Silas told Sam about the prescription West has attributed to him, but swore to her that he didn’t write it. Sam believed him and thought Ava could be the person who tried to kill Silas’ wife because Ava wanted Silas for herself. He was shocked at the idea since he said Ava isn’t the same person she was then, but agreed that it made sense. Silas then blamed himself for having the affair and bringing Ava into their lives. Sam then said that she was going to use her PI skills to prove Ava tried to kill Nina.

Back at the PCPD, Ava called Silas and he urged her to tell the truth. She thought that was crazy and abruptly hung up when Morgan approached. He told her that something had happened to his mom. She urged him not to worry and he apologized for all the things he said. She replied that she would always have his back, but he dropped her hand quickly when Michael and Kiki arrived. Michael called them out anyway but Morgan accused Ava of coming on to him. Kiki then voiced her belief that Ava was involved in Carly’s disappearance, but Michael still thought Franco was behind it. So, Franco was brought in but continued to proclaim his innocence. As he was being led off to be questioned, Kiki promised Ava that she would find out what happened to Carly.

Sonny paced at home thinking about Morgan’s return to the family. Then, Olivia arrived, grabbed him for a kiss and said that could sense something was wrong. He then filled her in about Carly’s disappearance, how he was going to help find her and Olivia also offered to do anything to help. He replied that she was his rock and they kissed. Things started to heat up and they started taking off their clothes. After they had sex, they lay in bed and talked about Morgan. He told Olivia that he saw Morgan with Ava and couldn’t understand how he could have just walked away from the Jeromes.

At Sabrina and Felix’s apartment, Patrick demanded to know if Carlos was the father of the baby. Sabrina then told Patrick that it was true that she slept with Carlos the night of their non-wedding because she was devastated and Carlos comforted her. Patrick wondered how she knew for sure that the baby wasn’t his. She said she was sure because they used protection and she and Carlos didn’t. She then urged him to go back to Robin and broke into tears once Patrick was gone. She then yelled at Carlos for stepping in, but he promised her this was the best solution for everyone and held her.

At GH, Elizabeth found Robin moping in a stairwell. Robin told her that she had just put herself in the running for Chief of Staff, but admitted that she was down because Sabrina was pregnant. Elizabeth urged Robin not to worry and Elizabeth reminded Robin that Patrick chose her and Emma. Robin then told Elizabeth that Patrick asked to have another baby and she said no so Sabrina was giving him something she wouldn’t.

At the nurse’s station, Brad asked Felix out for a drink, but Felix said he wasn’t feeling festive. He then told Brad that he told Patrick about Sabrina’s pregnancy. Brad then said that he thought Felix had a habit of getting in other people’s business. Felix got defensive at Brad’s remark and brought up Britt’s baby. Brad then finally admitted that he isn’t the father of Britt’s baby. Felix demanded answers but Brad wondered what made him the monitor of everyone else’s life, accused Felix of having no life and then stormed off.

Later, Patrick returned and told Robin that the baby wasn’t his. She was relieved it was over and they hugged.

In bed with Scott, Lucy wondered why she ever resisted. Then, Kevin suddenly appeared and she woke up screaming. She demanded to know what Kevin was doing there and he reminded her that they live together. He then asked if she was cheating on him. She stammered and he then he told her he was just kidding and just wanted to lighten the mood. Inside, Lucy was tortured at having betrayed her “Doc” with Scott.

In The Metro Court parking garage, on the phone, Scott urged Anna to pull it together and find Carly safe and sound. He then hung up and approached Franco, who was by Carly’s car. Franco told Scott that Ava was a much more believable suspect but Scott replied that he didn’t want it to look like he was pulling strings for his son. Franco shot back that he was sure no one could ever accuse him of that. Franco then told Scott that he just wanted to find Carly. Scott replied that he wouldn’t make any promises but would try. He then warned Franco that he was close to Bobbie, so if he did hurt Carly, Scott would hunt him down.

Michael looked for Carly at GH, but she hadn’t been admitted. He worried Carly was at the mercy of Franco, but Kiki told Michael that she was sure Franco was innocent and didn’t think it would help Carly to jump to conclusions. He then promised to keep an open mind. Meanwhile, Franco went to see Kevin at his office and told him about Carly’s disappearance. Franco was convinced Carly didn’t write the letter but Kevin pointed out that Franco was always afraid Carly would "come to her senses" and leave him. Franco left Kevin’s office to find Carly, ran into Michael and Kiki on his way out and swore he was innocent. Michael then agreed to give him the benefit of the doubt…for now.

Lulu answered Carly’s door and Det. West was there to investigate Carly’s computer. She asked him if he was new and he told her that he was Dante’s new partner, but she didn’t tell him that she was Dante’s wife. Instead, she began to question him about the case like a pro and he filled her in the details. He then found Carly’s letter on her computer. Lulu read it and wasn’t convinced Carly that wrote it since dating Franco was huge for Carly and her mind was made up. He then saw the timestamp of the letter was after her meeting with Sonny, so it seemed legit. Lulu blamed herself for being out that night. West didn’t want Lulu to blame herself and missed a call from Dante. He called back and told Dante that the letter checked out.

At the PCPD, Anna was anxious for something to connect their evidence to Franco. She and Dante agreed to keep what they knew under wraps for now, but Bobbie overheard and demanded to know what was going on. Anna promised her that they were doing everything they could to bring Carly home. Bobbie then handed off Carly’s toothbrush for DNA analysis, sure that Franco was involved. Bobbie ran into Scott on her way out and demanded that he get Franco to confess. He told her that there could be other suspects and she accused him of trying to protect his son. Then, Scott went inside and urged Anna and Dante to investigate all suspects so the case was airtight. Later, Anna got the call that the blood on the knife was Carly’s and the prints on it were Franco’s.

Felicia and Duke talked about Carly at Kelly’s. She was sure there would soon be a full-on mob war and remembered how Victor Jerome thought he ruled the town. Duke eagerly awaited Julian’s downfall and Felicia urged him not to let the Jeromes pull him apart from Anna again. Duke told her he had a volunteer commitment to fulfill and she hugged him, glad he was one of the good guys.

Later, Lucy came by and confessed to Felicia that she had slept with Scott last month because she and Kevin had hit a rough patch and one thing led to another. Afterward, Kevin showed up at Scott’s hotel room and she hid while he poured his heart out. Once Kevin left, Lucy told Scott that she wanted to work things out with Kevin and that they belonged together, but Scott told her that he wanted her and wouldn’t give up.

At the warehouse, Sonny urged Shawn to do whatever they needed to get Carly back. Shawn wondered if Sonny was buying what Morgan was selling. Morgan eavesdropped as Shawn questioned the possibility that Morgan would feed Julian info. Sonny replied that he knew deep down that Morgan loved him. Then, Morgan walked in and told them that Jax was going to get suspicious about Carly soon. Shawn left and Sonny promised Morgan that Carly would be fine. Morgan was worried about what a jerk he’d been to Carly and they hugged. Then, Duke came by and Sonny made Morgan promise that no one would know Duke was involved with Sonny.

At Carly’s, Lulu asked Nathan if he found anything else to help his case. He said the luggage upstairs matched the suitcase they found in Carly’s trunk and Lulu was visibly upset thinking something could have really happened to Carly. Nathan then asked if he should give Dante her regards but could quickly tell the topic upset her. Lulu then urges him to go back to the station. Later, Bobbie returned. She told Lulu that she hadn’t told Lucas because she was afraid he’d come back and run into his biological father. As of now, Lucas thought Julian was dead. Bobbie then called Lucas and told him she had bad news about Carly.

At the PCPD, Anna told Dante that the prints on the knife were Franco’s, and the blood was Carly’s. She wasn’t sure it was going to be enough evidence since Scott would want a slam-dunk guilty verdict after what happened at AJ’s trial. Then, Nathan returned and they got to work setting up a timeline of events. First, Carly had lunch at The Metro Court restaurant to tell Michael about her dating Franco. Michael got upset and left with Kiki. Carly was going to talk with Sonny and Franco watched her step on to the elevator. Sonny confirmed Carly got to the restaurant. Carly then went home to write her letter to Franco, but she never made it out of town. Dante thought she went right to the hotel from her house and Franco saw the letter, lost it and ran after Carly. They imagined they fought over her car in the parking garage and in the heat of the moment Franco stabbed her. Dante wondered where Franco would have gotten the knife. Anna thought maybe Carly had the knife for protection, and she left no prints because she was wearing gloves. They weren’t sure Franco would leave the knife so close to the crime scene though. All the security footage had all been deleted. Plus, where was Carly’s body?

Franco found Sonny in his hotel room. Sonny wondered if Franco is paying Carly back for the room by making her disappear. Sonny then told Franco that he told Carly to dump him and Michael told him about the letter, so some of what he said must have stuck. Franco thought someone else could have written the letter and insisted that he wasn’t capable of hurting Carly. Sonny didn’t believe him and told him to pray they find her alive or he would experience the same hell he inflicted on others.

Julian bragged to Ava in his hotel room that they had sold out the early edition of the paper. Ava wondered why he was so intent to skewer Franco in the press. Julian replied that he wanted to deflect any heat that may be on them for Carly’s disappearance, whether he did it or not. She thought this was a great time to take another swing at Sonny and he replied that he was already on it, but he really wanted to talk about Bobbie. Julian told her that he thought that her son Lucas was his son, born to Cheryl Stansbury, a former lover of his. Julian added that he wanted to get to know Lucas and be a better father than their dad was to them. Ava thought it was a little late, but he said that he was going to arrange to meet Lucas. She reminded him he wasn’t wanted and he asked if she was going to stop trying with Kiki and that he had a right to get to know his son.

Heather returned to the Quartermaine boathouse where Carly was tied up, but still alive. Heather woke her up with coffee and BLT’s. Carly then asked Heather why she cut her and Heather told her that she needed her blood to frame Franco for her murder. Carly was sure Franco wouldn’t believe the letter Heather wrote, but Heather didn’t care if Franco believed it since he wasn’t her “target audience,” the cops were! Carly wondered why Heather was doing this and asked her, “Don’t you want to be with your son?” She then told Carly that it was too late since the cops have already found the evidence. Franco had buried the knife he stabbed her with her, so his prints were all over it. Plus, Franco wouldn’t suspect her because he thought he killed her. Carly then said that she felt bad for Franco and that enraged Heather. Carly then said that she thought Heather must have made some mistake along the way, but she was confident she was golden. She then said that she was going to keep Carly alive so they could watch Franco go down together…then she’d gives the cops her body.

Nikolas ran into Elizabeth at GH. He was there for a board meeting about the new Chief of Staff. They admitted that they missed each other over the holidays and they both apologized for not contacting each other. Elizabeth then told him that the whole thing with Robin was a reminder to her that the people they love can just disappear. She then asked him to go ice skating with her and the kids but he turned her down. Then, he took a call from Britt and made plans with her instead. Elizabeth was bummed.

Luke asked Bobbie how she was holding up when Lucas arrived at Carly's. He told them that he wanted to see Carly in person to yell at her for causing Bobbie so much trouble. Bobbie assured him they had things under control and encouraged him to go back to Seattle. He was confused about her not wanting him there. Then, Luke saved Bobbie by joking that she was running on fumes under the circumstances. Lucas then went to get settled and Luke talked to Bobbie about telling him the truth about his father. Lucas overheard and asked, "Tell me what?" Luke left but Bobbie couldn't bring herself to tell Lucas about Julian. He then decided to get her food and hoped what she had to tell him could wait till he got back.

At the Quartermaine's, AJ thought Tracy wanted him to put down his drink when she yelled, "Put it down," after he added vodka to his orange juice, but it was her newspaper she wanted. He joked that the raccoon he thought was living in the boathouse took her paper and she suggested she go confront the beast. They argued until Michael arrived and Tracy asked him to help his aunt with a rodent problem. AJ got angry with her for bothering Michael and she rushed out yelling, "Alice."

In the boathouse, Heather was fuming that Franco hadn't been arrested yet after spoon-feeding the PCPD all the evidence. She then threw down Tracy's newspaper angrily. Carly thought Heather should cut her losses and let her go. Heather considered it, but then asked, "Where's the fun in that?" Then, she decided to use Michael to get a new lead to the police and called him claiming to be an employee who knew about the knife with Franco's fingerprints on it. After, Heather was tired of the Quartermaines lurking about and believed it was time to relocate.

Back inside the main house, Michael left after the call and AJ poured himself another drink. Then, he had a flashback of the night Connie was murdered and remembers asking, "Who's there?" by the Crimson elevator. He then asked himself, "Is it real?" Tracy interrupted asking him to snap out it while trying to give him a net. AJ left Tracy as Luke arrived and she asked him to take care of the raccoon in the boathouse. He finally agreed to be put on raccoon reconnaissance after her badgering. Tracy found AJ alone again later as he tried to remember what happened the night Connie died. Meanwhile, Luke opened the boathouse door to catch a raccoon and found Carly bound and gagged.

At The Metro Court, Julian wanted Ava to take point on the next step with Sonny so he could find Lucas in Seattle. They stepped off the elevator and found Sonny in Julian's office. He then announced that Julian's lease had been terminated. He then asked Olivia what kind of a game she was playing when she joined them. She explained that as part owner she had the authority to enforce the lease. The hotel staff then wheeled Julian's bags in as Olivia told him to find a new place to live. Julian replied, "This isn't over," as security escorted him out. Sonny said, "We're done here," but Ava didn't think they were. She told Sonny that she thought they should try to be civil, but he didn't agree and said that he was glad Morgan kicked her to the curb. Ava warned him that he shouldn't be so pleased since Carly was still missing. Sonny replied that he knew she’d be found alive but Ava reminded him Connie's killer was still on the loose.

Outside Kelly's, Franco left Kiki a message of thanks for believing in him.
Inside, Silas thanked Sam for believing in him as well. He was surprised she was eager to prove his innocence when he thought she should hate him. Then, Franco interrupted and offered Sam a job to find Carly. Silas agreed that Franco could be right about Carly being in danger but Sam thought the police were handling it and Franco left upset. Once they were alone, Silas thought there was no way of telling what Ava was capable of if she tried to kill Nina.

Later, Julian found Sam alone as she was leaving Kelly’s. She didn't want to talk about Danny, so he asked if they can talk about his son. She refused to talk to him after he told her what he knows about Lucas and left.

Outside Kelly's, Lucas called Sam’s name and introduced himself.

Anna asked Scott if he was avoiding her when he visited the PCPD and told him that she wanted Franco arrested. He refused to be embarrassed again for the department not giving him enough evidence. Anna shot back that she thought this was about Franco being his son. He denied it and demanded she give him Carly’s body. Later, Michael stormed in and confronted Scott about not arresting Franco. Scott blamed Anna, who was nearby, for leaking evidence. Anna in turn blamed Scott. Then, Franco arrived and hid around the corner as Scott announced Anna had her warrant to go arrest Franco.
