U.K.’s The Vamps release a video for ‘Wild Heart’

British pop rock band The Vamps released a video for their single “Wild Heart”, an energetic pop stomp from the quartet’s 2014 debut album.

Off the desert highway at a gas station, we see drummer Tristan Evans getting comically left behind by his bandmates as he comes running out of the station market dropping his purchases to catch his tour bus. The video follows the young boys who along the near empty highway, picking up girls along the way with their boy-band good looks to their out-of-the-way motel where we see flashes of the band playing the song throughout the video.

“Wild Heart” is fueled by acoustic and electric guitars with an Imagine Dragons beat with feel good lyrics talking about teen love; singing Tonight we’ll dance/I’ll be yours and you’ll be mine/We won’t look back/Take my hand and we’ll shine, the band of young boys, ranging in age from 17 to 19, will have every One Directioner at their feet.

“Wild Heart” is only The Vamps second single but the less than two year old band has already seen success with opening tour slots with indie pop rockers McFly, and an opening slot for Selena Gomez at her two night performance at London’s Hammersmith Apollo. On top of that The Vamps have landed an opener for Taylor Swift during her London show at the O2 in February 2014.
