The new trailer for Rob the Mob was just released. It is based on a true story that takes place in early 1990s New York. The story follows a young and madly in love couple who come up with the brilliant idea to rob the mafia. They get away with the crime until they realize that they stole something more important than a few twenty-dollar bills.
Soon both the mob and the FBI are chasing this couple for some type of list that they stole. Apparently this list can lead to the demise of the mob. Before they know this young couple is making headlines in all the papers and are becoming the modern day “Bonnie and Clyde.”
Raymond De Felitta is the director. He is best known for directing City Island. The film stars Michael Pitt (from Boardwalk Empire) along with Nina Arianda, Andy Garcia, Michael Rispoli, Burt Young and Ray Romano.
Rob the Mob is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 21st.
