First of all, Christina is incredibly talented and is not a stranger to having sexy songs. “Merry Christmas, Baby” isn’t outwardly sexy. I don’t even think that it was meant to have a truly sexual tone. The song as a whole, however, is pretty sexy.
The line: “You sure been good to me/Haven’t had a taste this morning/but I’m all lit up like a Christmas tree” is a line that would make you raise your eyebrows in interest. For a song that begins with “Should auld acquaintance be forgot,” it is shocking how romantic the song really is.
