Beyonce released a surprise, self-titled album which broke ITunes records selling over 800,000 copies.

Target decided not to sell the album but Walmart is. The album includes 14 songs and 17 music videos.

Beyonce might be on top, but Britney Spears had the worst opening of her career coming in at number four for Britney Jean.

On Wednesday evening, Michael Buble will have his 3rd annual Christmas special on NBC. It will include guest stars Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige and even Cookie Monster.

The nominees for the 2014 Grammy awards have been announced. Jay-Z topped came out on top. The 56th Annual awards will take place on January 26th.

Bruno Mars was named Billboard’s artist of the year. He will be performing the Super Bowl half-time show in 2014.

Madonna is still going strong. She was among the top earning women in music this year according to Forbes.

More music artists are dropping out of a concert in Seaworld in March due to the Blackfish documentary. The latest to back out are Martina McBride and Reo Speedwagon.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced its inductees for its ceremony in the spring. Among those receiving the honor are Nirvana, Kiss and Linda Ronstadt.

And finally, Harry Styles will not be leaving One Direction. Despite recent rumors, the group is still together and their 2014 tour will carry on.
