Hannah vs. The Many - 'Ghost Stories' (EP) review

The classic story of a young girl, who moved to New York in order to reach her musical dreams, is not just a fairytale. For Hannah Fairchild, that dream and fairytale became a reality.

Fairchild moved to New York in order to advance her career but after two years of rejections, Fairchild decided to take her own career into her hands. It was in New York City that she combined talents with Josh Fox, Carl Limbacher and Daniel Muhlenberg. The group formed, Hannah Vs. The Many.

Hannah vs. The Many has an abrasive, aggressive and loud musical sounds, which for the rock ‘n’ roll, rock band, create the perfect combination. Lyrically Fairchild is aggressive and has a rapid style of vocally delivery, even though this is not often heard in the industry today, it suites the upbeat style of the instrumentals that surround her vocals.

Ghost Stories stands out as an EP because of the storytelling that takes place on the record. Fans can relate to the heartbreaks and the ups and downs that life often throws at individuals. Fairchild captures those moments and connects with the audience in a real world way.

Stand out tracks on the EP include, “All Eyes On Me,” “Slow Burn” and “Lady of the Court.”

Fairchild proved that one just has to be willing to write your own storybook ending in order to have the fairy tale one desires.
