Haim announce extensive world tour

The indie band Haim have announced a world tour that will have them on the road for the next 6 months, including dates in Europe, Japan and the United States.

The Haim sisters, Danielle, Este, and Alana, who released their critically acclaimed debut full-length album Days Are Gone, have already been touring opening for acts like Mumford and Sons, and Florence and The Machine. Now it’s their turn to take the wheel.

According to Rolling Stone, the tour will see them go through the U.K. and Europe, Japan and Australia, and returning to the U.S. in April for a show at The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA on April 9. Dates for the shows have already started and show the tour running through May 2014. There is also speculation that Haim may be included in the line-up for Coachella 2014, the annual 2-weekend festival in Indio, CA.

Days Are Gone debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200. HAIM will make their Saturday Night Live debut this November 23, with "The Hunger Games" star Josh Hutcherson hosting.
