Glee star Naya Rivera’s new fiancé, Big Sean, opened up about what he thinks about Glee. It turns out he loves it!
Big Sean said in an interview with GQ, “Yeah, I watch [Glee] now. I’ve definitely caught up on it. I’m Gleekin’ heavy.”
Big Sean and Rivera confirmed their engagement publicly on October 4th. They had been dating for six months before he popped the question, according to US Magazine.
Although Big Sean enjoys his fiancé’s T.V. show, he did admit, “Some of the episodes are a little much for me.”
Nevertheless, the 25-year-old rapper appreciates how the show tackles “real issues.” He said, “I think it serves a great purpose in society.”
Rivera plays the character of Santana on the show, who is a former McKinley High cheerleader. In the current season, she has come out as being a lesbian and is living in New York City with Lea Michele’s character, Rachel. She even has a new love interest, played by Demi Lovato.
It sounds like Big Sean doesn’t mind seeing his fiancée smooching ladies on screen.
“If [Rivera] was your girlfriend,” he said, “you’d probably be Gleekin’ too.”
