Kanye West inflates his ego to presidential levels

It looks like nobody is safe from the ridiculous claims of Kanye West. Who is he comparing himself and fiance Kim Kardashian to this time? None other than President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Tuesday, West interviewed on the radio show "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" and voiced yet another boost to over-inflated ego. West has no problem saying "I'm the best," and he said exactly that.

"Barbara Walters is calling every day. Of course, we're the most interesting and collectively we're the most influential, especially in clothing," West claimed of his power couple status with Kardashian to Ryan Seacrest. He went on to say that "No one is looking at what [President] Obama is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a [bikini] pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day."

While the President's fashion choices may not be much of interest, the same is not even close to true of his wife. Michelle Obama has become known internationally for her fashion choices, as per E! Online. I think it's safe to say that the First Lady is too classy to post selfies of her wearing a skimpy bathing suit. True, Kardashian may appeal more to a certain audience, but to claim that she's more influential than Michelle Obama (even when it comes to clothing) is far from accurate.

West insisted that Kardashian should be on this April 2013 Vogue cover, not Obama.

In the same interview, Kanye talked about his Yeezus album, daughter North West, his engagement to Kardashian, his view on classicism, and of course, more outlandish comparisons. When asked about how he deals with frustration his response was, “Just drink! I’m sure I’m not supposed to say that, but I drink Grey Goose. And I’m not getting paid anything from them, but I’m going to tell you as a man – and they said Shakespeare was like a drunk and yes, I said that to blatantly compare myself to Shakespeare – you know, I’m not perfect. And certain mornings or in the evening, and I’m not a falling over drunk, but I’ll pour a little Goose, grab some ice cubes, and just practice patience.”

What will Kanye West say next? Maybe he should start compiling his wisdom into a book of quotes. He's sure to be able to fill many, many pages.
