Avril Lavigne and her husband, Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger couldn't be happier as newlyweds.
In an interview with ET Canada which is set to air Tuesday, Kroeger gushes about much he loves being married, reports People. "Married life's good,” the 38-year-old said. “It's been 94 days. I could give you, like, to the hour if needed."
Kroeger is also very grateful that Lavigne cooks for him, according to Entertainment Wise. "I could burn water," Kroeger admits. "She's an amazing cook." When his wife replied modestly, he insisted, "But you never miss. I've never tasted one thing that you've put on the table where I was like, 'I wish I had a dog.' That's never happened."
In return for her good cooking, Kroeger often lets his wife control the remote.
Lavigne may be the perfect wife, but she's not quite ready to be a mom just yet. Earlier this month, she revealed that she felt the pressure to have kids, but prefers instead to focus on her music and her husband for the time being.
"I have a tour coming up. And the songs on the album and this whole project … that's my baby, my sort of priority now,” the “Complicated” singer said, adding that Kroeger is also her priority.
The couple just released the duet, “Let Me Go.” Lavigne's new album is slated for a Nov. 5 release.
