Christoph Waltz to be 'Tarzan' Villain

Christoph Waltz could play the villain in David Yate's Tarzan now being slated for production soon. Waltz came into the film scene by undeniable force in Inglorious Basterds nabbing an Oscar for best supporting actor, and leaving everyone dumbfounded by his talent. He now takes the villain role once again taking on the loin clothed Alexander Skarsgard as Tarzan.

Warner Bros almost took Tarzan off of its production list back in April according to an article on Empire but now that the studio has had time to think through the decision the film has almost been green-lit with Harry Potter director David Yates still to direct, and now with talks in bringing Waltz in as well to play the villain, but those rumors are yet to be confirmed.

According to Variety Waltz's character would be a military figure who crosses paths with the loin clothed king of the jungle. No actress has been cast yet for Jane, Tarzan's lovely lady. But rumors are surrounding Emma Watson or Margot Robbie. Once a cast is locked in expect to see more information on when Tarzan will take production.
