Britney Spears’ new single, “Work Bitch,” was released a day early after a low quality version of the song leaked before its scheduled Sept. 16th premiere.
Spears’ manager, Adam Leber, said it was “disheartening that one bad apple had to spoil our release for the entire fan community,” Billboard reports. The pop singer also expressed her disappointment in the song’s unexpected release on Twitter.

The songs’ radio and iTunes debut were also moved up in reaction to the leak.
“Work Bitch” is the 31-year-old singer’s typical dance club anthem. Spears begins the song with “You want a hot body / You want a Bugatti / You want a Maseratti / You better work bitch.”
According to Hollywood Take, the single was co-written by Spears and will.i.am. The two collaborated earlier this year on the single “Scream and Shout,” which peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
